From comfort bikes to e-bikes, our rentals are perfect for exploring the beautiful roads and trails around Mahone Bay.
Helmet use is mandatory for all ages in Nova Scotia and are included with each rental.
Fat Bikes
From November to March Sweet Ride has a fleet of fat bikes, ideal for exploring the trails and wooded paths in and around Mahone Bay.
Join our guided beginner ride on Saturdays from 9am to 11am as we practice and develop the skills to enjoy winter-condition riding while meeting new friends – you may just get hooked! Come see what all the excitement is about and take advantage of our special group ride rate.
Saturday Group Ride Rate (9am-11am): $25/bike
Full Day Rate (10am-5pm, Wed. – Sat): $60

Comfort Bike Rentals
For Summer 2025 we have a small fleet of comfort bikes for rent to explore the trails around Mahone Bay. We’ve got sizes for all adults Check in with us for availablity. The Specialized Roll is a comfortable and capable ride on either the abandoned rail line trail network or along paved streets and scenic roadways. Sizes: S, M, L

Gravel Bike Rentals
We have a small fleet of gravel bikes available for rent in sizes to fit adults from 5′ to 6’4″, to explore the gravel roads, rail trail network or scenic roadways. The Salsa Journeyer Apex 1, offers a single front chainring, 1 x 11spd drivetrain 38mm lightly treaded tire, is at home on a wide variety of terrain, the perfect companion for your exploring on the South Shore. Bikes come with flat pedals, if you ride clipless, you must bring your own shoes AND pedals. Sizes: 51cm, 53cm, 55cm, 57cm, 60cm

E-Bike Rentals
The Evo ST5000 is packed with brand name components. It features a low step-thru aluminum frame, powered by a Shimano Steps E5000 mid-drive motor and a 418Wh battery. This keeps things relatively light for a full powered ebike. Front and rear lights keep you visible and full fenders keep you dry. It has a 9sp full Shimano drivetrain and Tektro hydraulic brakes and rolls on 700×40 multi-surface tires. Sizes: S, M, L
