Hemlock Hustle Gravel Ride, Oct. 18, 2026

Get your bikes tuned up, because the Hemlock Hustle is just around the corner and you don’t want to miss this epic day of gravel biking, feasting, community and fun!

Our 2nd Annual Hemlock Hustle Gravel Rally will be held in Maitland Bridge on October 18th. It’s a community-focused gravel cycling event celebrating the forests, rural communities, and local businesses of the area. The Hemlock Hustle is in support of Medway Community Forest Co-op, a locally driven initiative supporting ecologically based forestry in Caledonia, Nova Scotia.

You can pick from 4 routes of various difficulty levels through the Medway Community Forest license area. From the Big Hustle Route to the Lil’ Hustle – we are offering routes ranging from 95kms to 28.3kms with varying terrain and interest!

After your ride, enjoy a cold beer courtesy of @goodrobotbrew and a fill your bellies with a traditional pig roast with all the fixin’s. Expect some good tunes, and a wholesome community gathering!

If you are a member of @cycling_nova_scotia, you are in luck – tickets are $45. If you are not a member, you can register for $70 (which includes one day of insurance coverage for the ride).
