E-bikes are a great choice for recreation or utility, and we are partnered with established brands that provide bikes built with reliable, brand name components and serviceable and safe electronics. All the bikes we carry are eligible for the Nova Scotia e-bike rebate, and we take care of that for you in store, at the time of purchase. So keep in mind, if you qualify for the rebate, you can take $500 off the prices listed here.

Hybrid bikes are generally the most popular choice for the Rum Runner’s Trail and the roads surrounding Mahone Bay. If you want to ride the Bay to Bay trail to Lunenburg and grab some lunch, then cruise back on the road by the ocean, then any of these fine bikes will get you rolling.

Drop bar bikes have gained a lot of versatility in the last few years. Disc brakes have allowed for greater tire clearance and manufacturers have added more space every year, so now most road bikes can handle a 32mm tire and most gravel bikes will take a 50mm tire. This greatly expands the terrain that these new-generation bikes can handle.

Fatbikes aren’t just for winter. This is a fabulously versatile machine for all kinds of riding. These bikes will accept a wide range of tire or wheel sizes to make them a fun bike on almost any kind of terrain. In the winter we generally use a wider tire for the low-pressure traction benefits, sometimes with studs if things get icy. In the summer, it’s often a 29+ setup for the firmer conditions.

We’ve got lots of cold weather accessories in stock as well. Studded tires from 45NRTH and Terrene. Boots, gloves, socks, caps, pants, jerseys and jackets from Endura, 45NRTH and Specialized. There’s no reason to not ride outside this winter.
