At Sweet Ride Cycling, we’re passionate about bikes and the joy they bring. Located in the picturesque town of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, we offer a full range of bike services including sales, rentals, and expert repairs.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a first-time rider, our goal is to provide you with the best possible experience and ensure your bike is in top condition for every ride.
Our Story:
Founded by local cycling enthusiasts, Sweet Ride Cycling was created to meet the growing demand for quality bikes, rentals, and services in Mahone Bay. We saw an opportunity to share our love for cycling with others and help residents and visitors alike explore the beauty of our town and surrounding areas on two wheels.
Ride With Us:
Sweet Ride Cycling leads adult group rides throughout the year, starting with Saturday Morning Beginner Fat Bike Rides from Late November to the end of March. Snow or no snow, cold and windy, damp and mild – Unless it’s raining or freezing rain We RIDE! Rental Fat Bikes are available, by booking in advance, for riders 5’ to 6’4” or bring your own fat bike and see what all the excitement is about. Watch our socials for weekly ride announcements and updates.
Join us on our weekly Gravel Grinder Rides from June to the end of August. We explore local gravel roads and trails in the area and rides will vary in intensity from “gritty to predictable” gravel week to week depending on the route but remain 90min to 2 hour in duration. Never tried gravel riding? We have a rental fleet of drop-bar gravel bikes in a full range of sizing if you are visiting or if you have never tried a gravel bike before.
